As you know, I created this section of the newsletter for all of our clients who claim they don’t have time to eat healthy and need help finding ways to eat good food fast, rather than fast food. So every recipe may not be fancy – but, it will be healthy, it will be tasty, and they all can be made fast. Leaving no excuses that we can’t eat healthy, and feed our body nutritious foods that make our lives better.
This week is almost as easy as it gets, and was a go to for me before I had such a loving, supportive wife 🙂 ….
Ingredients:
2 pouches of Starkist Chunk Light Tuna in water
4 slices Pepperidge Farm light soft wheat bread
1 tbsp. Mayo
Directions:
Drain whatever water is in pouches and pour tuna into bowl, mixing 1 tbsp. of mayo. Put tuna onto 2 slices of bread, and place the other 2 slices on top. Done.
When I wanted to get all fancy and classy – I would throw the bread in the toaster and add a slice of cheese!
Calories per Sandwich – 245
Protein – 30 grams
Carbs – 15 grams
Fat – 5 grams
Fantastic high protein meal, high fiber, and healthy essential fatty acids. Everything you need for a healthy meal. Enjoy!
