From the beginning
Owners Paul and Laura Dexter
After personal training in a “gym’ environment for 10 years, I felt my clients weren’t able to get the workouts they needed. I had a vision of a place that my clients never had to wait for a piece of equipment and could get the “one on one” attention that they deserved - a private facility where only clients and their trainers trained with their goal at hand. In 2003, I decided to make that vision a reality – and Dexter Training Concepts was born.
My wife, Laura, and I opened up our first studio in March of 2004. Just 2,000 sq. ft. and just the basics, we flourished in just the first 2 years. The concept of a private facility where people could focus and get results instead of wandering aimlessly around a gym wasting their valuable time came as a breath of fresh air to so many people. In 2006, our small studio was starting to get crowded and wanting to continue to help more people become healthy – we began to look at expanding.
In April of 2007, we opened our second facility. We doubled our size to 4,000 sq. ft. and added more equipment to handle our increased clientele and with the intentions of helping as many more as we could. Wanting to handle all aspects of our clients health and fitness needs we added a juice bar for the benefit of post-workout nutrition, as well as offering massage therapy for recovery and stress relief.

We had 9 great years there and just like in 2006, we were extremely fortunate to have helped so many people and developed such a loyal clientele we needed to look at expanding once more.
September 2016 was our final move. It was the vision that I had from the very beginning but not the clientele to support it. 6,000 sq. ft. of the finest in health and exercise equipment, state of the art Juice Bar, and a Massage and Relaxation area that will make you feel like your on vacation.
Our dream has always been to help people live longer, healthier, and happier. We pride ourselves on giving people the finest environment to do that in, and not only just do it, but love the journey it takes to get there.
